Acceptable Losses

Don't get too comfortable because that is exactly when you will get the rug pulled out from under you. "Acceptable Losses," written by Jeffrey L. Vlaming, did an exceptional job when it came to shaking up everything we thought we knew. The twists and turns flowed seamlessly. In fact, there was a natural rhythm to it. This successful landscape allowed for us to time and time again assume we knew where a scene was headed, only to be proven royally wrong in a matter of seconds.  more

Exit Wounds

Blink, and you will miss it all. Not really, but Exit Wounds explored an astounding amount of arcs in a small amount of time. The beats for the episode went through scene by scene; this wasn't one story being told when in fact it was multiple all gearing up for the future. The strength of this episode though came in the way that it managed to make every shifting journey make sense. One plan seamlessly flowed into the next, it made sense for everything to be explored this quickl... more

Shifting Sands

Remarkable, stunning, and terrifying is only the tip of the iceberg when describing the emotions that this episode managed to elicit from us. "Shifting Sands" had it all but its true essence was the way that it wasn't scared of pushing limits. Sand storms featuring glass? Missiles aimed right at our favorite characters? Horrifying monsters crawling around inside people's bodies? Cathartic scenes between a wide selections of characters? The 100 Season 5 Episode 5 truly had it ... more

Has 'The 100' Taken Octavia Past the Point of No Return?

The 100 season 5 premiere didn't tease a happily ever after for Octavia inside the doomsday bunker. The first shot of Octavia in season 5 was one of a brutal monarch presiding over a gladiatorial match. The second episode, "Red Queen," which focused solely on life inside the bunker in the six-year time jump between seasons 4 and 5, revealed how things got to that point. Octavia was forced to make some rough decisions while leading what, she assumed, remained of humanity, and it seems to have tak... more

'The 100' Interview: Marie Avgeropoulos and Adina Porter Tease Season 5 'Gets A Lot Darker' and 'It's Human Nature'

At the end of The 100 season premiere, we got a glimpse into the bunker world with Octavia in command. The violence and living conditions are in stark contrast to those of Clarke and Madi, as well as, for Spacekru. In this week's, "Red Queen," The 100 jumps back to after Praimfaya to show what happened in the bunker including, how Octavia took control and maintained it.  Last fall, TVBuz visited more

'The 100': Can Bellamy and Echo's New Romance Last on the Ground?

A lot happened in the time jump between The 100 season 4 and season 5, on the ground and in space. The long-awaited season 5 premiere let us know how Clarke survived and how she became a "mother." Yet it also clued us into what is going on in what was left of the Ark with Bellamy and crew. It didn't come as much a surprise that Murphy was exiled from the group while in space, breaking up his love affair with Emori. Yet another bit of news on the romantic front did come as a shocker. In the six y... more

I'm not a big fan of Echo. I hope see doesn't end up in a relationship with Bellamy. Clarke aside, she tried to kill Octavia and was part of the plot that killed Gina, Bellamy's then girlfriend. Bellamy wouldn't just let that go, even after 6years. I hope she redeems herself in space and they can become some type of friends, but I don't think he'll ever trust her enough to truly let his guard down.

Great show. Terribly exciting and tense. the kind of show that you get addicted to if you overlook the scientific nonsense of much of it and like sheer fantasy stories. Personally I prefer to live in this dimension of space and time and like stories to stick to our version of the laws of physics which requires more education and understanding by the story writer. Anyone can write fantasy stories because it does not have to comply with our scientific laws.
